Shawn + Constance // Tung Lok Wedding Singapore
Slideshow above, scroll down for pictures.
As I was putting together this set of photographs for Shawn and Constance held at Tung Lok Wedding, I have gotten even more moved by their love, it was apparent that the love they are building is a strong and beautiful one. It left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. (if you planning to get married, get in touch!)
So, allow me to tell you a story.
On an evening in August, the air was fragranced with the fresh smell of rain, was the first time I met them in a cosy Starbucks. Quiet and slightly uninhabited as everyone has likely headed home, cooped up cozily away from the rain. Shawn and Constance’s story started over piano keys. Back in the days, Constance was learning piano from Shawn’s aunt, and that was the first time he had set eyes on her. Their timeline had crossed and it has since been running parallel from there.
Over lunch one time, they got to talking, and this is when sparks came to light. On their first date at Heaven’s Loft, he ordered a lady grey tea and she ordered the chicken leg. Although nothing out of the blue, this was the moment that he knew she was being kind towards him – she went easy on his wallet. Despite having known no one from their social circle, conversations were easy flowing and by the end of it, both of them were gunning for a second date.
Shawn has always been a sweetheart towards Constance, he would squeeze toothpaste onto her toothbrush every morning before she wakes; he would also go all bad cop to look out for Constance. He is warm and comfortable, like a pillar of strength and a support system to her.
Constance, calm and demure, and her steadfast nature of hers keeps Shawn away from wavering like a stormy sea. “She balances me out,” he said. She is the nicest person he had met. “So nice and simple … Finding someone nice is a rare thing,” was how he put it. He always want the best for her and simply, an eternity with her.
Here are the highlights of their wedding
These are my favourite photos of the day as they were both writing their personal marriage vows to each other.
